I am a retired municipal worker that managed the water and wastewater utilities of a small City in Wisconsin. I have been making maple syrup for almost 20 years and now manage close to 1000 taps and average about 350 gallons of organic syrup each year. My "hobby" is a one man operation that keeps me busy about half the year, making and selling pure organic maple syrup. An outdoors man at heart, I enjoy working in my maple woods managing the trees for sap and wildlife.
