SUMMARY:Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center Spring Open House
DESCRIPTION:The Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center is hosting their Spring Open House on Saturday\, May 6th as a kick-off to their 2017 season. Part of the celebration will include craft making stations such as a Mother's Day card creation station\, two different jewelry creation stations with local artists Sharon Kizewski and Mara Mednis\, and painting a book mark station with local artist Del Lucka. There is no cost to participate or need to make reservations. These craft items will make great Mother's Day gifts! The different craft stations will be available throughout the day beginning at 11:00 am. The Center will also be showcasing new product in the gift shop such as Garden of Eden's Cranberry Vinaigrette dressing\, Simply Snackin' all natural Northwood's beef jerky with cranberries and blueberries\, Rice River Farms Festival Wild Rice Medley with sweetened dried cranberries\, slivered almonds with maple apple flavoring\, Ocean Spray's new Mocktails Cranberry Sangria and Tropical Citrus Paradise\, and more! The Center is also now offering Jelly Belly cranberry sauce jellybeans and cranberry taffy year-round. The Center's six different gourmets\, handmade cranberry themed ice creams will be available and they are reintroducing the Ice Cream Scoops Card to receive a free cone after purchasing 10 cones. A discounted rate of $2.50 to tour the Center's Exhibit Hall will be available on May 6th also. Beginning May 1st\, the Center's hours will be Monday   Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sundays 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
