SUMMARY:Rockhounding for Children MREA Energy Fair
DESCRIPTION:Join me at the MREA Energy for a fun filled session at the Rainbow's End Children's tent.  Session runs from 4:00 PM to 4:50 PM.  \n\n\n\nIntroducing a variety of rocks in Central Wisconsin and the USA.  How they formed\, how to identify them\, where to find them\, how to transform finds into jewelry\, magnets and shiny rocks. Safety and legal issues when collecting rocks. Handout for further resources to ensure what is found can be transformed from "just a rock" into something beautiful .   \n\n\n\nSession will be tailored to those in attendance. Children and adults are welcome to attend. Those with cognitive\, physical and mental health challenges are encouraged to attend.  \n\n\n\nWill include a short rock hunt on the MREA Grounds.  \n\n\n\nI will also have many items available for bid in the MREA Silent Auction Tent throughout the weekend.  They include finished cabochons\, guitar picks\, rough rocks\, rock slabs\, jewelry\, items needed to transform rock finds into jewelry\, healing/meditation rocks and more.  \n\n\n\nAll items in the Silent Auction Tent will benefit the MREA 100%.  \n\n\n\nLooking forward to seeing you\, your children/grandchildren there.  \n\n\n\nSession starts at 4:00 PM on 6/21 and ends at 4:50 PM.
