A history of jazz is presented from the original masters of Count Basie\, Miles\, Monk\, Coltrane... through the progressive jazz\, funk\, and rock  era of Herbie Hancock\, Traffic and Santana. \n\n\n\nThe group is led by keyboardist\, Ted Frank\, a 45 year jazz-rock performer and alumnus of the 1978 UW Madison jazz ensemble led by Richard Davis\, with Rob Steffen-drums\, Erik Johnson-tenor sax\, Dave Saperstein-Bass\, and Patrick Michels - percussion.
