DESCRIPTION:Session 1: 5:30 pm   6:00 pm Session 2: 6:30 pm   7:00 pm MCM welcomes our friends at Madison Contemporary Dance! Artistic director Sara Rohs will teach a FREE creative movement dance class for children of all ages on August 29 (two sessions available). Caregivers are very welcome to participate. Today\, we'll explore creative movement through play: dance games\, interactive songs\, and imaginative stories. You will see lots of play with parachutes\, scarves\, wands\, and musical instruments! Creative movement is a contemporary form of dance that combines movement and artistic expression without the need for specific training. These activities provide a joyful way for children to explore movement through music\, develop physical skills\, channel energy\, stimulate imagination and promote creativity. these activities focus on the development of motor skills and emotional expression. This event is part of our FREE Thursday evenings! Explore the museum with no admission cost\, 4 pm 8 pm every Thursday evening.
