DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Burn Pit BBQ Anniversary Party and Backyard BBQ Competition! Sunday\, September 5th on the patio! We'll have great BBQ\, Beer\, and Vendors with BBQ products. All proceeds will benefit The Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative.\n\n \n\n20 BBQ teams will be competing for a grand prize of $500! AND you get to try the meat and party with us! There is no cost for the public to come out and participate in the event. Samples will be for sale.\n\nIf you'd like to enter the competition\, then please hit the ticket link to enter. Competition is open to the public and no prequalification is required. An entry fee of $100 is required though. There will be two cooking categories: Pork Babyback Ribs & Beef Tri Tip.\n\n \n\nTwo racks of ribs and two tri tips will be provided to each participant. Jack Daniels Whiskey will be provided to each participant (8oz) and it must be used in the cooking. Prizes will be awarded for best ribs $200\, best tri tip $200\, and best overall will win the grand prize of $500.\n\n \n\nPlus all participants will receive some goodies from Jack Daniels.\n\n \n\nSchedule:\n\n8am Explorium Opens for Set-up\n\n9am Judges Briefing and Meat Inspection\n\n10am First Fire Time!\n\n5pm Deadline for Entries for Judging\n\nExcess product will be sold for the public to try.
